Presentation day #3


Today in class we listened to two more projects about the trireme and ancient Greek Democracy. I thought that both of the projects were very good and that they knew a lot about the subject that they were presenting. I was very interested in both of the project and the groups did not make their presentations interesting and not boring. Still to today my favorite one is the food project that was presented, I like this one because of the food first of all but also the PowerPoint was interesting and it was just a good all-around presentation. I am kinda excited that we are moving on from the presentations and moving on to something else, I am super excited to learn about Alexander the Great and all of his accomplishments and his great empire of the ancient world, I am also excited to learn about the culture at this time in the ancient word because this is the time that multiple culture come together and blend as one.

Today in class we answered questions on feudalism in Europe. Today in class we went over two power point on the medieval times. We look at who the rulers were and what they did for their kingdom and weather the improved the life of the kingdom or if they made life worse. Here are some of the notes that I took on the power point.  -        Clovis rules the Franks in Gaul until his death in 511 -        Most of the rest of Europe consists of smaller kingdoms (seven in England alone) -        Clovis' descendants include Charles Martel, known as Charles the Hammer (great name!) -        Hammer defeats a Muslim raiding party from Spain at the  Battle of Tours in 732   -        (If he hadn't won, western Europe could have become part of the Muslim Empire -         that's huge!)

test day

Today in class we took a test, and we also are about to do some questions in the textbook. It think that the test was pretty easy and that I did good but I am still nervous of what I got, I feel like I did good but I don’t know if I really did good so we have to find out when we get the test back, I don’t know maybe he will grade the test today in this class and we will find out today. I am excited because tomorrow is a half day s that is nice and we get out at 12:45.
