Western Civ Project Day


Today in class we took the whole time to really finish our project that we are doing on ancient Greece. My group and I are doing a project on the famous Greek pot. We are also doing a power point on the history of the pot and how they were made, we also put how we made our pat at home and we are also doing a little section on the story that we are going to paint on our pot. I am really happy with the way that our pot has turned out and I am really happy with the way that our project has turned out as a whole. I am really happy to paint one of the adventures of Hercules on our pot I think that it will turn out really well. I am really excited to see how our project turns out as a finished project.

power point

Today in class we went over two power point on the medieval times. We look at who the rulers were and what they did for their kingdom and weather the improved the life of the kingdom or if they made life worse. Here are some of the notes that I took on the power point.  -        Clovis rules the Franks in Gaul until his death in 511 -        Most of the rest of Europe consists of smaller kingdoms (seven in England alone) -        Clovis' descendants include Charles Martel, known as Charles the Hammer (great name!) -        Hammer defeats a Muslim raiding party from Spain at the  Battle of Tours in 732   -        (If he hadn't won, western Europe could have become part of the Muslim Empire -         that's huge!)

test day

Today in class we took a test, and we also are about to do some questions in the textbook. It think that the test was pretty easy and that I did good but I am still nervous of what I got, I feel like I did good but I don’t know if I really did good so we have to find out when we get the test back, I don’t know maybe he will grade the test today in this class and we will find out today. I am excited because tomorrow is a half day s that is nice and we get out at 12:45.
